EXCEED Administrative Core


The objective of this core is to coordinate the work of the IWHR Program. This core will:
  • 1. provide leadership to the program;
  • 2. receive and make use of input from the Advisory Panels;
  • 3. ensure the components of the program interact to maximum benefit in order to meet the goals of the PPG;
  • 4. Oversee disemination activities.

Steering Committee

In order to effectively coordinate day to day PPG activities, there will be a single Steering Committee. This committee, with its diverse expertise, will assist the Program Director with the day to day operational activities and dicision making, help the Program Director set and balance priorities and monitor that the appropriate amount of resources are devoted to the PPG.

Scientific Advisory Committee

This committee will monitor the progress of the program, provide advice to the program. The committee will have formal meetings twice a year.


Community Advisory Committee

This committee provides the link between the PPG and the community, reviews the direction of the PPG program from the community perspective and advises staff on approaches to developing closer ties with the communities where provider interventions will be conducted and on the ucltural aspects of the program.
